Willow is a Bluetooth, bone conduction headphone designed to play white sounds to minimize tinnitus.
Tinnitus is the perception of sounds that lacks an external source. The sound varies from ringing, roaring, and buzzing. In some cases it can be chronic. Although there is no cure, there are ways to minimize symptoms.
1 out of 5 20 year olds suffer from tinnitus.
Design Goal
Create a device to assist those suffering from tinnitus by providing a variety of sound options while still allowing for external sounds to be present.
Integrated with the ear, Willow leaves room for piercings, earplugs, and glasses.
